            เพลงไพเราะหวานทำนองจากดนตรีคลาสสิค ที่คนไทยนักฟังคุ้นหูมานาน คือ คิดถึง
            เจ้าพระยาธรรมศักดิ์มนตรี ได้ประพันธ์ เนื้อร้องเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2477 (ค.ศ. 1934)
   จากทำนองเพลง Zigeunerweisen หรือ Gypsy Airs, Op.20 (1878) ประพันธ์โดย ปาโบล เดอ ซาราซาเต้  -
Pablo de Sarasate (1844 - 1908) นักไวโอลินและคีตกวีชาวสเปนแห่งยุคโรแมนติค
    จากทำนองดนตรี Romani (music) ซึ่งมักถูกเรียก(อย่างเหยียด) ว่า Gypsy หรือ Gipsy music
(ของชาว Romani - Gypsy ผู้มีถิ่นกำเนิดจากอินเดียตอนเหนือแล้วเคลื่อนย้ายมาอาศัยอยู่ในยุโรป) โดยมีจังหวะ
จากเพลงเต้นรำพื้นบ้านของฮังการี - csardas

นำเพลงเศร้ามาทบทวนหลายเพลงแล้ว   ขอชวนเปลี่ยนบรรยากาศ มาฟังเพลงใสในอดีตบ้าง
แม้ว่าวัยรุ่นผู้เป็นทั้งนักร้องและนักฟังในตอนที่เพลงนี้ขึ้นอันดับ 1 ของบิลบอร์ดในค.ศ. 1958 กลายเป็นคุณทวดกันหมดแล้ว    เพลงนี้ก็ยังน่าฟังไม่เสื่อมคลาย
