              ป้าบาร์บแสดงบทเดียวกันมาก่อนบนเวทีละคร และบนเวทีแจกรางวัลออสการ์
(Academy award) ป้าบาร์บก็ได้รางวัลนักแสดงนำไปครองร่วมกับนักแสดงผู้ยิ่งใหญ่
ในตำนาน Katharine Hepburn 
              โดยมีคนแซวว่า ได้ออสการ์เพราะป้าบาร์บโหวทให้ตัวเอง จึงได้คะแนนเท่ากับคุณย่าแค็ท
(รางวัลออสการ์ตัดสินโดยการโหวทของบรรดาสมาชิก  Academy of Motion Picture Arts
and Sciences และป้าบาร์บเพิ่งเป็นสมาชิกของ AMPAS)

              เพลงที่โด่งดังจากหนังจนนับได้ว่าเป็นหนึ่งในเพลงลายเซ็นของป้าบาร์บ คือ People
แต่โดยส่วนตัวแล้วกลับชอบเพลงตอนจบของเรื่อง My Man ที่แสนประทับใจ ได้อารมณ์เกินบรรยาย
                 ตอนเด็กดูจบแล้วต้องมาคุยกับเพื่อนว่า ตกลงเลิกจากกันพระเอกไม่กลับมาแล้วใช่ไหม
แม้ว่าเพลงจะร้องบอกว่า     For whatever my man is
                              I am his forever more

ข้อมูลระบุว่า ถ่ายทำการร้องสดๆ เพื่อให้ได้อารมณ์สุดๆ และเพราะว่าป้าบาร์บไม่ชอบ lip-sync ครับ

             ปี 1970 มีหนังเล็กๆ ที่โด่งดัง สร้างกระแส ได้รับความนิยมสูงเกินตัว
เล่าเรื่องราวความรักของหนุ่มสาวสดใส ที่จบลงด้วยความเศร้าเพราะพลัดพรากจากตาย
หนังเรื่องนั้นมีชื่อธรรมดาง่ายๆ ว่า Love Story

            Francis Lai ประพันธ์ดนตรีประกอบหนังที่ถูกนำมาใส่เนื้อร้องเป็นเพลงโด่งดัง -
Love Theme from Love Story

            แต่โดยส่วนตัวแล้ว เพลงจากหนังเรื่องนี้ที่ชอบคือ Snow Frolic ครับ

พูดถึงหนังที่ไม่ใช่หนังเพลง แต่มีเพลงไพเราะจับใจ แบบ Theme from... ตอนนี้นึกออก 2 เรื่อง
เรื่องแรกเป็นหนังโหดลือลั่นทศวรรษ  เรื่อง The  Godfather  ตรงข้ามกับเพลงที่แสนจะพลิ้วหวาน    ฟังที่เขาบรรเลงกันนะคะ

เนื้อร้องก็หยดย้อย  Speak Softly Love

                Al Martino ก็ร้อง Speak Softly Love ซึ่งเป็นอีกเวอร์ชั่นที่ฮิท และ
ที่สำคัญลุงยังแสดงใน Godfather ด้วย ครับ
 
                   รับบทเป็นนักร้อง crooner นักแสดง เจ้าลูก (Godson) ของเจ้าพ่อ ที่อยากได้บทแสดง
ในหนังสงครามเรื่องหนึ่ง ซึ่งเจ้าพ่อก็จัดให้ตามวิธีการของเจ้าพ่อ ที่โหดสยองจนผู้อำนวยการสร้างหนังต้องยอม
นอกจากนี้เจ้าพ่อยังใช้เส้นสายจัดการให้เจ้าลูกได้รางวัลจากหนังเรื่องนั้นด้วย

                   เขาว่าตัวละครที่ลุงมาร์ติโนรับบทนี้ ก็คือ ปู่ Frank Sinatra ในชีวิตจริง
ผู้เป็นครูนเนอร์ตัวพ่อ มีสายสัมพันธ์กับมาเฟีย และหนังสงครามเรื่องนั้นก็คือ From Here to Eternity
