src="rtimages/RW1212x0.jpg"> ต่อจากกระทู้ร้องเพลงเพลงคริสมาสเมื่อ 2 ปีที่แล้วครับ /> ปีนี้ลองมาดูเพลงคริสมาสเก่าแก่ แบบคลาสสิกที่เราไม่ค่อยได้ฟังกันบ้างดีกว่า เพลงแรกคือ In dulci jubilo /> เนื้อร้องเป็นลาตินผสมเยอร์มันครับ แต่งโดย Michael Prætorius ครับ เป็นเพลงเก่าแก่ของยุโรป สมัยศตวรรษที่ 16  คนไทยคงไม่ค่อยรู้จักกัน ส่วนใหญ่เราจะเคยได้ยินแต่เพลงสมัยใหม่ /> จะโพสตเนื้อร้องเป็นภาษาลาตินผมก็อ่านไม่ออก เอาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษไปซักหนึ่งท่อนก็แล้วกันครับ อยากเห็นเนื้อเต็มๆ ก็ต้องเข้าไปที่เว็ปนี้ครับ ทำนองเป็นแบบเพลงในโบสถ์ (น่าเบื่อเล็กน้อย กำลังพอหลับสบาย แหะๆๆ)  href="http://www.sfbach.org/repertoire/indulci_praetorius.html" target="_blank">http://www.sfbach.org/repertoire/indulci_praetorius.html   /> In dulci jubilo With sweet rejoicing /> now sing and be glad! เพลงที่แพร่หลายได้ยินกันทั่วไป  อีกเพลงหนึ่งคือ The Twelve Days of Christmas เนื้อเพลง บรรยายถึงว่า My true Love ให้อะไรเป็นของขวัญแก่ฉันบ้าง ในวันที่ 1 ไปจนถึงวันที่ 12 ของคริสต์มาส ของที่ให้ ก็แปลกๆ มีจำนวนแต่ละอย่างเท่ากับจำนวนวัน คือ On the 1st day of Christmas my true love sent to me...  เพลงคริสต์มาสอีกเพลงหนึ่งที่ดิฉันชอบ เป็นเพลงสมัยใหม่ค่ะ ความจริงก็ไม่ใหม่ เพราะ 20 ปีแล้ว แต่เทียบกับเพลงอื่นๆก็ถือว่าใหม่ คือ เพลง Do they know it's Christmas? ของ Band Aid โดยการนำของ Bob Geldof ค่ะ ไม่เรียกว่า Sir Bob นะคะ เพราะ Bob Geldof เป็นคนไอริช ไม่ได้เป็นอังกฤษ

ดิฉันชอบเพลงนี้เพราะทำนองไพเราะ เวลานึกถึงเพลงนี้ก็จะได้ยินเสียงระฆังในเพลงก่อนเลย นอกจากนี้แล้ว เนื้อหาเพลงนี้ยังทำให้ได้หยุดคิด ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศรื่นเริงของเทศกาลคริสต์มาสปีใหม่ด้วยค่ะ

เพลงนี้มีการเอามาร้องใหม่เมื่อปีที่แล้ว บรรดาศิลปินสมัยปัจจุบันมารวมตัวกัน ใช้ชื่อว่า Band Aid 20

พูดถึงคริสตมาสผมก็นึกย้อนไปถึงสมัยตอนเป็นเด็ก ตอนคืนวันที่ 24 พวกรุ่นพี่ๆ เขาจะมารวมกลุ่มกัน ถือกีตาร์ไปร้องเพลง serenade กันตามบ้านที่เป็นชาวคริสต์ แล้วเจ้าของบ้านก็จะเอาขนมนมเนยออกมาเลี้ยง สนุกสนานกันจัง ไม่รู้ว่าเดี๋ยวนี้ยังมีธรรมเนียมนี้ปฏิบัติอยู่อีกหรือเปล่า ก็พาลไปนึกถึงเพลงเก่าเพลงนึงของ Peter, Paul and Mary ชื่อเพลง A'Soalin เดี๋ยวต้องไปรื้อมาฟังซักหน่อยละ   Hey ho, nobody home, meat nor drink nor money have I none Yet shall we be merry, hey ho, nobody home.
